When the marketing words do not correctly apply to your business whether service or product, what you are offering will not carry your potential customer to purchase point. Words do the heavy work better when they are the RIGHT words. You need a hook to catch the eye. Your customer wants to know: “How will this benefit me”. The content that follows must draw the reader from sentence to sentence, right to the call to action. The reader is ready to buy or they would not be on your site. Excellent copywriting can only lead a customer to act, be sure YOUR response to the call is professional, knowledgeable and timely.
A sense of humor and the absurd, a very positive approach to life, a creative mind, a healthy work ethic, perseverance, and a love of a job well done are deeply ingrained in my personality. Years of business ownership in the world of Interior Design and real estate taught me effective marketing of products and services.
My reasons for wanting to work from my ‘home-office’ are varied. First, I need an income. Covid took my income away as a marketing director for assisted living. I also have severe mobility issues, which wipes out all “go-to-workplace” jobs. I needed work that was creative and met my need to write. I have to control my hours to deal with my mobility issues. I began to explore freelance writing and tripped over Location Rebel, Sean Ogle. I am now so stoked, about where this world of writing has been all my working life.
